Abba Reviews
ABBA ha[s] finally dumped out a truly great record. Filled to the brim with extremely catchy pop ditties and sometimes even more than that. Like I already mentioned in the previous review, the mighty leap they took on here is astonishing.

All Music
ABBA was a surprisingly effective synthesis of pop and rock styles, surprising because the non-English-speaking world had not produced such effective Anglo-American-style contemporary music before, at least for more than a song or two.

Don Ignacio
After going through those previous albums recently before reviewing this, it still manages to come off as somewhat of a shock. This is a genuinely good album!

BBC Music
An interesting, experimental juncture in the quartet's career.

Culture Sonar
This studio album was ABBA at their most unconstrained fun.

Tangled Up In Music
An album that never fails to cheer me up: This Studio Album Was ABBA at Their Most Unconstrained Fun.

ABBA Record Reviews
More lead vocals by the girls and more complexity in the arrangements and perfectionism with the sound and recordings, the sound is already huge in the waterloo album, but here we touch perfection ,nobody since has ever reached such perfection.
