Pitchfork
With a persona modeled after Eminem’s, the Michigan-born star of Christian rap recently notched his second No. 1 album. But to most of the secular world, he’s a ghost.
-
HipHopDX
His knack for personal lyricism over melodramatic production makes his latest album, The Search, an impactful listening experience and validation for the aforementioned comparison.
-
Jesus Freak Hideout
At the end of the day, fans are left with a quality sampling of songs, many of which represent a few strides forward for NF, both in maturity and in originality.
-
Music Mayhew Magazine
This an album you could play front to back on repeat and not get tired of it, as every song is unique to itself and has lyrics most of us, if not everyone can relate to.
-
Genius
I listened to the worst album in my life.
-
The Post Athens
No track on the album lacks in any way.
-
Obsessxns
The Search can get complacent at times, but it provides some of the best singles that NF has ever released.
-
it's all dead
The album truly speaks for itself.
-
HotNewHipHop
He pays careful attention to his lyricism and the production is well-crafted throughout, making his fourth album an impressive one.
-
The Musical Hype
All in all, Nate Feuerstein puts together an enjoyable, well-rounded LP.
-
Church Magazine
The Search, like NF’s previous albums, is full of raw emotions. I can't recommend this album enough.
-
Madness to Creation
The beats are amazing, the emotions and overall feelings that are construed all throughout this album are unreal. Is it a perfect album? Not quite, but that’s not to say it shouldn’t be one that you play over and over again.
-
Rapzilla
NF’s passion for his craft is clear and, even if he doesn’t choose to hone his punchline game, I expect his overall rhyme style will only grow suppler and more sophisticated with the years.
-
Plugged In
NF's latest single begins in a pretty dark place but journeys toward a much brighter, more hopeful one by the end.
