American Pride

American Pride is the fourteenth studio album by the country music band Alabama, released in 1992 by RCA Records. It included the singles "I'm in a Hurry (And Don't Know Why)", "Take a Little Trip", "Hometown Honeymoon" and "Once Upon a Lifetime". "I'm in a Hurry" was a Number One hit for the band, while the other singles all reached the Top Five on the U.S. country charts. "Between the Two of Them" was later released as a single by Tanya Tucker from her 1994 album Fire to Fire.Wikipedia

So everything that Alabama's known for is here: full-group harmonies, small-town Southern virtues and common-sense patriotism.

  • My Kind of Country

. . . American Pride is nothing more than a bizarre album. Listening thru, it’s obvious this is nothing more than a commercial album frontloaded with the four offerings suitable for radio while the remaining seven tracks have little to no value for the listener.

. . . this collection would qualify as the biggest waste of recording tape since Linda McCartney deemed to put down her camera.
