¡Tré!

¡Tré! (stylized as ¡TRÉ!) is the eleventh studio album by American rock band Green Day. It is the third and final installment in the ¡Uno! ¡Dos! ¡Tré! trilogy, a series of studio albums that were released from September to December 2012. Green Day started recording material for the album on February 14, 2012, and finished on June 26, 2012. ¡Tré! follows the power pop style of ¡Uno!, and the garage rock feel of ¡Dos! The album's title is a nod to the band's drummer Tré Cool, who turned 40 years old two days after the release of the album. Cool is also featured on the album's cover. It is the band's last album as a quartet, as Jason White reverted to being a touring member in 2016.-WIkipedia

Green Day bring their trilogy of albums to a close with an anthemic bang, but above all, a surprisingly different album for the band.

Tre fails at the most basic credo of good entertainment: to leave the audience wanting more.

¡Tré! feels scattershot and slapped together, making it difficult to enjoy on its own merits. There are definitely songs worth cherry-picking to add to your mega-mix of your favorite Green Day songs from this recent trilogy

This album as well as the other two are all fun and a nice return to Green Day's simpler style of songs.

The three albums work as a piece, but also stand confidently on their own individually. Of the three, “Tre” will appeal to Green Day fans who like their music a little more contemplative than mindless.

Like almost everything else on '¡Tre!' they don’t sound like Green Day are out to prove anything. It’s the back-to-basics rock album they promised.
