'The Spaghetti Incident?'

"The Spaghetti Incident?" is the fifth studio album by the American hard rock band Guns N' Roses. The album is composed of covers of older punk rockhard rock, and other songs. "The Spaghetti Incident?" is the only studio album to feature rhythm guitarist Gilby Clarke, who replaced original Guns N' Roses member Izzy Stradlin during the band's Use Your Illusion tour in 1991, as well as the last album to feature guitarist Slash, bassist Duff McKagan (until their return in 2016) and drummer Matt Sorum. It is also the only Guns N' Roses album not to be promoted with a tour.

Unfortunately, the tacked-on Charles Manson song leaves a bad aftertaste, but not because of the song itself; the inclusion of the song seems like a publicity-seeking stunt

You’ll play it a few times and then file it away, never to be heard again.

An interesting curiosity but not much more. A prime example of Collectors/fans only material.

As it is, this is still an album for connoisseurs, but one that’s perfectly enjoyable if you take it for what it is.

An amazing album; an important album even. It’s peculiar – it sits out on its own.

The album is a thrown-together collection of very limp cover tunes which sound like little more than jam sessions.

Like hearing Use Your Illusion I and II refracted through cover versions.

Had the band known it would be the swan-song of the majority of their powerhouse lineup, it’s debatable that they would even have issued it as a stand-alone release.

Most of the tunes are left-overs from the Illusion recordings, with a few songs recorded specifically for this release.

Around their last work there has always been a lot of detachment, surely it was not the best way to say goodbye.,

They shine on The Spaghetti Incident as a tough glam band capable of effortlessly crossing the dividing line between classic rock and "alternative" music.

A tribute to the band’s punk rock roots. Thanks to grunge rock’s new popularity, the LP doesn’t sound dated.
