The Gaurdian
O'Donoghue's real metier is lyrics: he's a striking and emotional storyteller ("Would you pat me on the back or would you criticise me?" he asks his late father on If You Could See Me Now), and it makes #3 listenable.

Subjective Sounds
Overall, #3 is an incredible album and one that should be in everyone's collection. Yes, there are some things I would have done differently, in relation to the mixing, mastering, and overall production of the album, but they are minor quibbles that would likely make the album different, not better.

Digital Spy
Don't get us wrong, The Script have hardly torn up the rulebook for #3, but with a proven track record, that's not necessarily a bad thing.
-
All Music
Catchy, well-crafted modern pop cuts that should appeal to the Script's longtime fans, as well as any casual listener of heartfelt mainstream music.
-
What Culture
The Script sure know how to write a catchy song. Although Danny does sound slightly like Bruno Mars in this song when he says Millionaires. Little bit weird. Overall I am still undecided on this album. It has some very good element.s

Sputnik Music
10/8/2012 The general vibe of this album is easy going, climatic, emotional and magical! #3 as a title represents three great things – Music for the head, the heart and the feet. This album really does share all these qualities.

10/12/2012 It would be wise to steer clear of #3. If there was anything musically, vocally, or lyrically redeeming about the album, I’d say at least give it a chance – but unfortunately, The Script has given me nothing to work with.
-
Teen Ink
Danny, Mark, and Glen have created an album filled with tones of pop-rock and ingenious ballads, and they deserve every ounce of credit for their continued success.

There, I hope that satisfies you, if not, let me know your opinions or questions and let's discuss! I hope you'll find their latest album as good as I know it is! :)

Yorkshire Times
Equally The Train-esque 'Millionaires' shows that O'Donoghue and his pals have simply lost themselves in the whirlwind of prolific success.
-
Independent UK
This is an example of what The Script does best: taking a familiar cliché and riding it in a different direction, whether it's the "Broken Arrow" somehow "shooting across the sky", or using "Six Degrees Of Separation" to quantify arbitrary stages of the amorphous emotional morass of heartbreak.

Spencer Craig
If I had to rate the album I would give it a 3/5. The songs don’t all sound the same, however too many of them don’t grab your attention and keep you coming back for more.
-
Between My Earphones
There are just a few peaks in the album, with many troughs. But the peaks keep me happy. Then there are the other albums that are winners. So maybe this is just a slight slump.
-
Entertainment IE
The Script take themselves rather seriously, and while accusations of being insipid, overwrought or simplistic in outlook may not be completely without foundation, #3 remains entirely listenable.
-
Danny O Donoghue
Whether it’s sweary break-up song Six Degrees Of Separation or catchy party-rocker Good Ol’ Days, it all goes to show that three really is a magic number for my favourite trio.
-
State in the Real
The 10- track album turns up the dial on the group’s subtle hip-hop influences, with O’Donoghue mixing in some sing-song rapping and crisp piano riffs into various tracks. Though the entire album is an emotional rollercoaster of catchy choruses and alt-pop sheen, a few tracks in particular are truly noteworthy.
-
Express UK
Amid a handful of solid crowd-pleasers like Six Degrees Of Separation, the identikit sound wears thin over the course of an album. One man’s predictable schmaltz is another’s heartfelt emotional balladry but #3 doesn’t have quite enough personality to sustain a whole album.
-
Contact Music
A bona fide hit for the mainstream, it is a shame that this quality is such a rarity on '#3', where the troughs outnumber the peaks.
-
Music and Listening
The Script is both a great band but are also so annoying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is because although their pop rock based sound is cool and there have a firm belief in how they are as a group that allows for a cohesive record, in many cases the production just becomes too similar for each track and the pop rock sound just feels generic. Furthermore, the rapping employed within the album as a whole is just really appalling.

My Album Reviews
There a few songs I don't like but the album is good overall.

Female First UK
#3 is the best release from the band so far and this album will certainly bring The Script even more success.
